THE  u9s STORM INTO THE FINAL

What a fantastic achievement by the rapidly improving u9s who have reached the Cup Final at the first time of asking in their very first season as a team The lads have exceeded all expectations and have been unbeaten in the league for the last 6 weeks and are now totally focussed on  progressing up the table. This is the REBELs first season ever as a team and with Mike & Woz together with the parents have  turned these lads into a force to be reckoned with now and in the forseeable future I am very proud of these lads great performances not only in the league but in reaching a Final as well which by any standards is a major result as we wish them good luck and we all believe these lads can go on to lift the Cup but no matter what we will celebrate …………. REBELs  STYLE

WELL DONE u9s REBELS 

Oh YESSS well done to Mike and Waz in getting the u9s REBELs into the SemiFinal of the Cup in the lads very first season as a team, this is a fantastic achievement by all the players and hopefully this bodes well for the future for the u9s team as they will realise their true potential in the coming months, an excellent performance from all Managers , Players and Parents alike WELL DONE COME ON THE REBELS

SPONSORED WALK

Ian ,Mark, Paul, Pete, Brad ,Brendan of the REBELS are going on a  50 mile sponsored walk Sunday 10th october starting at 5 .30 am from  Blackpool Football Club  calling at Preston North End , Bolton Wanderers Football Club and finally arriving (fingers crossed) at Gigg Lane home of Bury FC in aid of The Blackley Disabled Youth Club & Higher Blackley Rebels the walk will take approximately 16 and half hours (wow thats 2 sleeps haha) please show your support by sponsoring the lads on this  remarkable event as you have done so often before. We will be at training this week with the sponsor forms so please get behind the lads and give what you can thank you…….. Higher Blackley Rebels are holding a HALLOWEEN / RACE NIGHT( Fancy Dress Optional) Club Fundraiser on Saturday 30th October at St Clares Social Club Victoria Avenue Blackley tickets are £1.00 per person and prizes will be given to best Fancy Dress.  Anybody interested in Sponsoring a race for £10.00 let ur manager know please
