Saturday 20th February
Well done boys another great game, the boys were once again on top form right from the start there were a few shots on target but the first goal came in from Jack Abbott (15) who never fails to impress us with his qualiity of goals, the next was from Daniel Granger (24) who’s goals are also top quality this was then closely followed by another from Jack Abbott (26) then fighting to keep up his run of hatricks he scores another belter Jack Abbott (38) Due to injury Nathan Meek was taken off and substitute goalie Joe Barker was then brought on. The opposition were still battling to get a goal when it finally paid off for them and they scored two goals within minutes of each other, this then made the rebels step up their game even further and the fifth and final goal came from Joe Teat (57) making it for him four goals in the last four games. Man of the match was well deserved by Josh Mc Donagh who always plays his heart out well done Josh.
Manchester City Football Club has invited the under 9s down to their academy for the day for the next half term hopefully this will be the first of many invites by professional clubs for all our age groups in the future so good luck lads ENJOY yourselves
